I had no idea this had happened. I am so so sorry for your loss. My brother was killed when he was 25, and watching what my mom and dad had to deal with (and still do) it is the worst thing that anyone can experience.

There is no doubt that God brought you all together as a family.Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10089941289792819389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1269678401832288396.post-24923274480767848702010-12-23T23:46:54.198-08:002010-12-23T23:46:54.198-08:00My sweet, sweet Friend. I understand the calling to Guatemala being so strong and then the loss and let down, although not to nearly the same degree as you since our daughter was so young and had no idea she was waiting for us. I will pray for all of you as I know how tough these "anniversaries" are for your family. It makes my heart happy to see your little Saron home with you now!Aileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01750667553051719005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1269678401832288396.post-10421441448877304612010-12-04T19:25:39.052-08:002010-12-04T19:25:39.052-08:00Its so unimaginable, so awful, and then so wonderf...Its so unimaginable, so awful, and then so wonderful though even she was scared of change she knew she had a family and she was loved. I think it's wonderful that Josi knew that she had a loving family waiting for her, even though they were far away. I'm sorry you didn't get to bring her home. We have two girls we adopted from Guatemala at 2 and 5 years old. Our other daughter is still there in an orphanage with no way to bring her home.

Your story is so sad, so sweet, and so loving. And your video is beautiful. What a wonderful little girl. I think that your involvement with her the year before her death must have brought her such joy. Guatemalan children have such a difficult time.

Best wishes and with admiration for your strength, SusanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1269678401832288396.post-74644177189675603252010-12-04T14:56:12.557-08:002010-12-04T14:56:12.557-08:00Carla,
