Back in, Beds & a Bug

I am posting tonight with good news. We are back in PGN!!! I hope and pray that PGN is good to us and gets Josi outta there, with an approval that is, ASAP.

Here are some pics of my girls' room. We put in Josi's bed a while ago, but I let my girls put on their new bedding too. Now all three beds match and the room is so cute--and clean--right now. I had to post these pics for Gramma to see that their room is not always a mess.
I took this photo before my girls fixed the stuffed animals the ceiling net,
and replacing the 80's ceiling fan is next on my hubby's honeydo list.

Check out this moth Haley found. I call it a Mothasaurus Rex. We thought for sure that she found the biggest moth ever, but we stood corrected as we saw, compliments of the world wide web, that there is one with a 10-inch wingspan. This one had about a 5-inch wingspan. Still it was huge. It could easily be mistaken for an albino bat. When Haley found it, Harley had already had her way with it. It was a bit squished but still alive.

New pics of Josi

The agency director went to Guatemala City and checked in on Josi and took these great pics of her.

I also have word that we may be back in PGN by today or tomorrow.

A New Name and a New Look & FFF

I was getting tired of the same old thing and especially my blog name. Every time I read my blog name, it reminded me of some department store that was remodeling and had those "Here We Grow Again" signs all over. I like this name much better. It better suits me.

Nikki who designs Blogs for a Cause, did a fantastic job setting me up for what I wanted to do. Her 'cause' is to raise money for her humanitarian-aid trips and also to donate to charities. She designs blogs to raise the money needed.

After I got the basic layout from Nikki, I downloaded the 30-day free trial of Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and then went to town last night--not literally. It took me hours to learn the program and design my header, but I'm happy how it turned out. What it takes Nikki to do in minutes, took me hours.
I still have more fine tuning to do on here in the next few days, but for now this will have to do.

FAVORITE FOTO FRIDAY - Here are a few of my favorites

Robby and his Grandma a few years ago

Tigger & Sammy. Sammy was so afraid of Tigger at Disneyland. So the Tigger got on the ground and Sammy did too and they got together that way. They got as close as a hi-5.

I LOVE this picture of Aubrey. When she was six, she was in the hospital with what they diagnosed her with as having a blood infection. She was sick for weeks and was in the hospital for two weeks. It was so hard during this time, because Sammy had to be nursed at night and I had to leave her there every night, alone. It broke my heart and I cried all the way home every night, (1-1/2hr drive.) I will never forget that, and this precious picture is a reminder of how strong she was during that time.

My niece Amanda doing Haley's hair. Talk about strong... She lost both her legs in a car accident and almost died when she was 16, a few years ago. You wouldn't know it today. She's as strong as ever.

Love this pic of Shay's backside.
