I'm Home

I am home and so happy to see Sammy and the kids. I have to admit it was an emotionally exhausting trip. Josseline is still not too happy with the fact that she is getting a new family. She is so young which makes everything very hard for her to understand, besides the fact that her heart is broken in two because her birthmother has made the decision to give her up. (She has said more than once that I am not her mommy. That her mommy is only at work and will be coming back for her.) The four-day visit definitely had it's share of ups and downs, but it was worth going just to show her that I am not giving up on her.

I will post more info later, but I wanted to get some pics up for you all to see.

Carla, I'm glad your home safe and sound. I'm sure it was an emotional ride while you were there. It breaks my heart that someone so young has experienced so much pain. But the key is she is young, she can learn what trust and love are. Your just the family to show her those things. I look forward to more pics and details about the trip.
Best Wishes
Stacey

I'm glad you got to visit again! I'm so sorry she is suffering through this rejection... At least she is already opening up to you about her feelings. As long as the communication lines stay open she will do just fine.

Carla, I have been waiting all week to see you posting again! She is beautiful! I know that your heart just sinks when she says this. But, actions speak louder then words. It will just take her time and when she is yours officially and she does not have to go back and forth she will know you are her mama and that your family will be hers. Poor thing has had such a rough start to life! She really needs to get home quickly!I a praying for a really fast process!!!!!

Carla--she is absolutely beautiful. If anyone can prove to her that you are her forever mommy, it's you. She has to protect herself from anymore hurt---she'll learn to trust you in time.
Hang in there. You are a GREAT mommy and Josie will know that soon.
